Functionality has been added to Symphony to meet these retail requirements, for example, the Symphony Label Printing module allows you to design and print shelf edge and bar-code labels for products.

Integrated Weigh & Pay scales improve speed and accuracy for weighed items and there are a number of different types of multi-buy promotions that can be implemented such as buy one get one free, or a meal deal scenario. The Symphony Reporting software will provide detailed analysis of the performance of the promoted items prior to the promotion, during the promotion and after the promotion.

It will also provide sales trend reports against products, for example, a comparison of sales for each of the last four Saturdays.
