MCR have completed a SymPOS roll-out to Philpotts, the sandwich and salad retailer who operate 23 shops across the UK. Philpotts pride themselves on only using the best quality ingredients available and offering the highest level of customer service. From a lunchtime sandwich to an important business meeting they are able to meet your every requirement. In addition, Philpotts also stock a range of cakes and pastries from another multi-site MCR client Patisserie Valerie.
The Philpotts management team were looking for central control of products and pricing along with business insight and having seen the MCR SymPOS hardware and software across many catering retail operations throughout the UK it was an easy choice to make in selecting the MCR offer. All data for the sites is now managed through MCR's cloud based Symphony Enterprise software, enabling an easy and rapid roll-out across the business. Symphony adds flexibility allowing users to log on anywhere, 24/7 for real-time, on-demand access to data and up to the minute reporting and analytics, improving efficiency and enabling management to make informed decisions.
SymPOS has been deployed on 70 Tills (J2 hardware) across the estate, along with integrated Verifone vx820 Chip & PIN terminals with contactless payment offering customers a fast and convenient way to pay.
The roll-out was project managed by MCR and completed in 6 weeks, with 4 sites per week being migrated across to SymPOS during that time.
